As a holistic practitioner, Melissa Vidaic has experience treating a broad range of ailments. Providing safe, natural, and effective relief to a vast array of health conditions, Melissa works to achieve balance and a sense of wellbeing within her patients.
Her area of expertise is in the treatment of painful conditions, including back & neck pain, auto accident injuries, chronic pain, sports injuries, repetitive use injuries, acute pain, post-operative rehabilitation and pain management. She also integrates a considerable amount of auricular therapy (ear acupuncture), which allows direct access to various centers of the brain, and is very effective for calming the nervous system & reducing stress, blocking pain, and curbing addictive behaviors. Melissa is also trained in facial rejuvenation acupuncture, which enhances facial beauty and is a safe and natural non-surgical method of reducing the signs of aging.
Melissa employs a gentle Japanese acupuncture approach blended with modern Chinese techniques, making her treatments relatively painless. Approaching her patients with kindness and compassion, Melissa provides patients with a sense of safety, relaxation and healing. Exceptional at achieving whole body balance, Japanese style acupuncture works not only to heal current health problems but is also effective as preventative medicine.
Melissa’s qualifications include a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine, completed at Southwest Acupuncture College; Diplomate of Oriental Medicine awarded by the NCCAOM; Certification in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the NCCAOM; and Licensed Acupuncturist by the state of Colorado.
